Being WTIA’s member for over 12 months, company is eligible to register as Voter in the “Information Technology Functional Constituency”. Until 2007, there are 4,976 voters in this Functional Constituency (Click Here for details)

If your company has not registered yet, please don’t forget to submit your registration asap by 16 May 2008 so that your company can be eligible to vote in the coming Legislative Council election to be held in Sept this year. Young Asians: Understanding the lifestyle, motivations and digital habits of today's youth:

Understanding youth's connectivity with media, the important of the internet and the mobile phone; as well as their thoughts on how media fits into their lives. How important is music and gaming to today's young generation? What are currently the hottest gadgets, and how does it vary by country? Also, where do today's youth look to for the latest trends? 10 Apr 2008 - WTIA raised HK$67,088 for “The Community Chest” through “New Territories Community Chest Walk” on 24 Feb

「WTIA TEAM」completed the「New Territories Community Chest Walk – Route 8」on 24 Feb 2008 (Sun).

The campaign has raised HK$37,088 from all participants and sponsors. According to 「You Donate, We Donate!」 Campaign, WTIA will donate HK$30,000 more to 「The Community Chest」. Therefore, HK$67,088 in total will be donated to 「The Community Chest」!

We would like to convey our greatest friends to all people who has supported this campaign!

8 Apr 2008 - Second Consultation on Development of Mobile Television Services (Submit Your Comments by 28 Apr 2008)

Success of "The 1st Hong Kong Mobile Film Festival" Paves the Ways for Launching of Mobile TV Services in Hong Kong

One of the objectives of organizing "The 1st Hong Kong Mobile Film Festival" is to facilitate the development of mobile video contents in both supply and demand side, which will pave the way for the launching of "Mobile TV Services" in Hong Kong in the near future.

The success of "The 1st Hong Kong Mobile Film Festival" proves that, on the demand side, Hong Kong citizens are interested in viewing video contents through their mobile phones; on the supply side, there are many talents in Hong Kong who can produce high quality and creative video contents for mobile phone viewers.

The "Second Consultation on Development of Mobile Television Services" is in progress and The Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, HKSAR Government would like to invite interested parties to submit their comments by 28 Apr 2008.
